Row of houses. Late C18 or early C19. Yellow brick, painted to No 18. Slate
mansards. 3 storeys, attic mansard and basement. No 16 of 4 full storeys. Each
house 2 windows wide. Round headed entrances, panelled doors, fanlights. Square
headed windows, glazing bars mostly in situ; sashes. Second floor window to No
18 altered to form cantilevered bay. Parapet. Wrought iron area railings with
overthrows to basement. GLC plaque to No 16 commemorating residence of Lord
Hore-Belisha (1895 to 1957), statesman.
