House. C17 with later bay to right, altered C19 and C20. Coursed ironstone
rubble, C20 concrete tile roof replacing thatch, stone gable copings, brick
chimneys to left and between right bays. 2 storeys, 3 bays. C20 3-light wooden
casements with horizontal glazing bars and wooden lintels. Ground floor lintels
have narrow chamfers with notched stops. C20 door between left bays, with
semi-conical tiled porch on wooden posts. Roof has C20 wrought iron weathervane
at right end of ridge. C20 extension with garage entry and gabled semi-dormer
set back to left; roughcast extension to rear of right bay. Interior: centre
ground floor room has large stone fireplace with moulded and stopped 4-centred
arch, and chamfered spine beam with one end on moulded stone bracket and other
end on wooden bracket.
