Barn. C17 possibly. Local lias stone cut and squared; double Roman clay tile roof between stepped coped gables.
Single-storey, 6 bays. Modern openings, probably C20, in north side except at west end, where there is a C17 boarded
door in very heavy frame. Curved collar and tie-beam roof trusses, one retaining fragments of wattle and daub
partitioning. Lean-to with catslide roof along south side, having 3 small openings with timber lintols, boarded doors
with heavy frames. Two added raking buttresses to west gable. Important group value with surviving buildings of
Muchelney Abbey (qv).
