3/72 Lower Spargo Cottage, including
- adjoining outbuilding


Farmhouse, including adjoining outbuilding. C18. Granite rubble with granite
dressings. Asbestos slate roof with granite rubble stacks over the gable ends.
Scantle slate roof over outbuildings and at rear.
Plan: Double-depth plan house with 2 rooms at the front (probably kitchen on the
left, parlour on the right) flanking an entrance hall leading to stair hall between
rear service rooms. Later outbuilding adjoining on the left, lean-to on the right.
Exterior: Symmetrical 2-window south-east front with central doorway. C20 partly-
glazed door; C20 porch; C20 2-pane horned sashes to ground floor openings, circa late
C19 or C20 6-pane horned sashes above. Outbuilding, on the left has wide doorway on
the right and loading doorway above (overgrown with ivy).
