A red brick house probably of C16 origin, with a red brick front with parapet.
2 storeys. 4 window range, arranged 2:2 double-hung sashes with glazing bars,
in painted reveals. A central doorway with a segmental fanlight has panelled
pilasters and an open dentilled pediment on brackets (similar to No 46). Roof
slate, treble pitched.


All the listed buildings around The Green form a group. (Nos 8,10,38,52, and 25 are
buildings of local interest.)
