Planned farmbuildings. Early C19 with mid-C19 alterations and late C19/early
C20 covered yards. Squared tooled stone to front, rubble to rear, with tooled-
and-margined dressings; covered yard timber on cast-iron piers; Welsh slate
roofs. Ranges around yard open to south, with central detached loose box;
smithy running west from west range and barn, with engine house on east,
running north from centre of north range.

North range 2 storeys, with 2 pairs of elliptical arches; boarded door between
and slatted windows over. Single-storey byres on east and stables on west have
boarded doors and part-slatted windows. South end of byre range show slit
vents, and stable range, boarded door; central loose box with double boarded
doors under elliptical arch; all 3 gables show coping on deep footstones.
Taller gables of covered yard, on either side of loose box, have vertical
boarding above stone wall; boards shaped at base, carried up over segmental-
arched yard entrances; roof ridges slightly raised, with vents at sides.

Smithy shows 2 boarded double doors and 2 part-slatted windows, with stepped and
banded stack on coped west gable. Barn shows boarded doors and pitching doors;
engine house shows iron-framed flue cent to former stack, and coped gables on
deep footstones.

Adjacent C20 sheds and outbuildings are not of special interest.
