House, with adjoining stables converted to Post Office and shop. Later C19.
Red brick with clay tile roof. L-plan, one storey and attics, NE wing
originally the stableblock. SW elevation retains variety of cast iron lattice
casements and has part glazed door to RH under sloping hood on curved braces.
Road gable end has 2 ground floor windows with glazing bars under cambered
heads, and clock face to attic with moulded dripstone. NE and NW elevations
have bay windows to ground floor, all C20 insertions, and gabled dormers with
cast iron lattice casements. SW block has square louvred bell-cote with
pyramidal roof and weathervane. _
