Early C19. Formerly Barfield's lending library. 2 storeys stuccoed. 4 windows
facing south, 4 windows facing east. Parapet with stone coping. Most glazing
bars are intact but some windows have been modernised on the south side of the
house. The East front 1st floor has 2 trelliswork iron balconies with tent-shaped
canopies. Tuscan porch under the balcony to No 30. The South front has 1 sash
with 'Gothick' glazing and a small porch with thin Tuscan columns.

Royal Albion Hotel, Nos 14 to 26 (even), Nos 30 &32 form a group.
