C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house with the remains of a moat.
Two storeys and attics. The east front has 5 window range of casements
and on the north part of the front there is a series of original pargetted
panels with conventional flowers, fleur de lys and lions. Above the doorway
there is a date panel with the initials 'S.T.' above the date 1689 and
below this, the figure 82. Roof tiled, with a large central chimney stack
with 6 square grouped shafts and 4 gabled dormers on the east front. Two
gabled wings project on the west side, with modern additions built between
them. The interior has an original open fireplace on the ground storey.
