Timber-framed and plastered house of C17 origin with a cross wing at the
west end, but with mainly C19 external features. Two storeys. Three window
range, C20 casements. Roof slate, hipped at the east end, with a central
original chimney stack with 2 attached hexagonal shafts. The house stands
on a partly moated site. (RCHM 6).
