Oasthouse, converted to accommodation. Early-mid C19 and mid C19 possibly
with earlier origins; converted 1930s. Brick and tile-hung plain tile roofs.
2-storey 3-bay range with circular oast at left (west) end and another added
to rear left. West front: main range is of brick in English bond and has
1930s part-glazed door and small-pane, metal, casement windows; roof hipped
with ridge stack near right end. On left is oast of brick in Sussex bond with
inserted sash windows on ground floor, wooden steps (lower flight removed) up
to old board door at upper level, which rises through eaves under flat roof
and has an opening in the roof to its right; cowl. Rear: main range is
tile-hung on 1st floor with 1930s windows and added oast onright which is of
brick in header bond with 1930s sash windows and old court. Oast on right has
band door and 1930s windows and 1930s sash window. Interior: boxed beams in
main range. In state of disrepair at time of inspection.
