Timber-framed and plastered building probably of C15 origin but altered
in the C17 and later. Renovated. Two storeys. Three window range of
modern casements with leaded lights. A modern gabled porch with a thatched
roof projects on the front. The east end was formerly jettied but is now
largely hidden by a large external chimney stack. Roof thatched. The
front formerly had a modern date 1663. (RCHM 28).
