Cottage possibly C17 picturesquely remodelled in C19. Timber-framed with herringbone pattern red brick panels and plain tile roof. T plan, one and a half storeys. Crosswing at South end with paired brick ridge stack, the shafts joined. Similar North end stack. Crosswing is close studded with jettied upper floor, ornamental bargeboards, two casements above and casement pair below. Two dormers on South side. Main range has gable bargeboards, two dormers on East front and upper floor is carried over a picturesque open verandah on paired wooden piers. Door and three-light casement to
ground floor.
