C16 or earlier house on H-plan, walls plastered, with roof ridges of unit height,
gables, peg-tiles and eaves. Concertina re-built chimney stack near return
of west wing. The whole aligned east-west. Gabled porch before main chimney,
with modern front door. Wavey vergeboards on all gables. Windows mixed, casements
in sets of 2 or 3, one pair of Gothic casements in ground storey east wing,
3 pointed lights, West wing jettied on outside long wall with Jacobean pierced
and pendanted brackets. Gothic windows in rear elevation.
