Circa 1600 house now an inn, timber framed with rendered walls, 3 window range
on first storey with double hung sashes of 8 panes in exposed boxes. On south
front 2 wide pairs of 10 pane sashes with flat hood over door between them.
Modern semi-hexagonal bay window to the left. Early C19 hip roofed addition
on north. Roof ridged with mixed hips and gables, clad with plain tiles. (RCHM 2).
