Riding school. 1764, but frieze and pediment later. Pedimental sculpture of
1859 by W. Theed Junior. Stucco, low hipped slate roof. Symmetrical
composition. Tall 1-storey hall with 2-storey blocks to each end. 13 bays.
Arched windows. Centre 3 bays set forward slightly with pediment containing
sculptural group representing Hercules and the Thracian horses. Rich acanthus
frieze. Timber consoled eaves cornice. Two dormers to roof.
