C14 and later, with 2 storeys and cellars, oak framed and plastered. Of complex plan which encompasses at least 3 units. South front parapetted and quoined in C18 plaster, with eaves band beneath parapet of Loom House which has a 4 window range of sashes, some small-paned. Eaves cornice to Marlborough is modillioned. Roofs pegtiled.
Inside Marlborough Head shows evidence for former longwall jetty to Mill Lane and has exposed joists with soffit-tenons of the C14. Dining room, on corner of Mill Lane and High Street has finely carved bridging joints and a dragon beam, vine-trails, and quatrefoiled cusping circa 1450, evidence for corner jetty.
