Circa 1400 house. Timber frame, partly exposed and plastered, of L-plan. Two
storeys, with ridged, gabled and pegtiled roofs, one gabled dormer on stem range.
Porch central to front, gabled, pegtiled with original front door under flat
4 centred oaken arch. A set of leaded casements each side of porch (modern)
and a set of 3 casements on first storey of crosswing. Two modern red brick
chimneys. Inside: stem, or hall-range laterally divided circa 1510, haunch-tenoned, wing-floor has unrefined central tenons and therefore dated circa 1400. Top-plates halved and bridled scarf.
