Cottage. Circa late C16. Timber-framed, rendered with thatched half-hipped roof.
One storey and attic. Five-bay frame with axial stack in former smoke bay, service
end to left. Divided into two units, probably in C18 with stairs to each end. Two
boarded doors, two three-light casements with leaded lights. Two eyebrow dormers
with three light C18 casements with leaded lights.

Interior: frame largely exposed. Jowled posts with down braces. Chamfered spine
beam run-out stop to high end. Later inserted floor. Pair of inglenook
fireplaces, one-with trefoil-headed salt niche. Gable-end first-floor casements in
original openings with mortices for diamond mullions. Clasped purlin roof with
curved wind-braces. Original partitions and plaster.
