Cartlodge. Probably early C19, reusing older timbers. Timber framed with block tarred
weatherboarding on rear and part of flanks and a clay pantile fly-hipped roof. The north elevation
has old render on upper part. Of 5 bays with open front posts on square stone blocks. Arch
braces to tie beams and 'V' strut roof with side purlins. Lean-to on rear (original?) and much
reused timber including late medieval girt with mortice for jetty bracket. Arch braces to top plate
from each rear corner post and floor over northern-most bay.
