Description


1. LONDON ROAD 1163 (South East Side) Nos 25 to 28 (consec) TM 3877 1/33 II GV 2. Early C17, altered, 2 storey, modern roughcast. Pantiles. 3-light casements at 1st floor, sashes at ground floor of Nos 25 and 26. 6-panel doors, to Nos 25. and 26, with architraves, friezes and cornices. Vertical boarded doors to Nos 27 and 28. Interior: No 25, 2-panel doors with wrought strap hinges, some on lugs, wide fireplace, of thin bricks, with chamfered beam above. Arched cupboard with shaped shelves, (formerly with doors), heavy joists, timber framing. No 26, very wide fireplace of thin bricks with curved hewn bean.

Nos 1 and 2, Nos 4 to 10 (consec) and Nos 25 to 28 (consec) form a group.

Also Nos 1 and 2 form a group with No 38 and White Lion, Thoroughfare.
