Cottage, extended and divided. Mid - late C16 with C19 extension to left end.
Timber framed, underbuilt in whitewashed brick, exposed above with whitewashed
brick infill, whitewashed brick extension to left. Plain tiled roof, half-hipped
to left. Two storeys, 3 framed bays with detached end stack to left on offset
plinth, offset end stack, now truncated,to right. Three diamond-paned leaded
casements to first floor and one larger casement to ground floor with C19 latticed
glazing bars. Leaded window to ground floor right and ordinary casement to ground
floor centre. Double, ¾ glazed doors to right of centre under gabled porch
(Talskedy). Four panel door to left hand return front under pentice hood porch
(Buttermere) extensions to rear left.
