House. C15 core with C17 and C18 alterations, C19 additions. Timber framed on
sandstone plinth with brick infill to centre. Sandstone rubble cladding below
to right and whitewashed roughcast infill above. Cream coloured sandstone rubble
cladding to left. Plain tiled roofs, half-hipped over centre bay, hipped to
right end. T-shaped plan with wing at right angles to rear. Two storeys to
left, one storey and attic to right under tile hung casement dormer. Multiple
ridge stack to left of centre, further stacks to rear. One small,3-light window
to first floor left, larger three-light window to ground floor. Two first floor
and one ground floor windows to central bay and two leaded windows to ground
floor right. Basement to left. Half glazed door in shallow left hand return
wall of central half-hipped bay, main entrance now to rear in gabled, two storey
porch placed in re-entrant angle with wing.
