House. Mid to later C18, enlarged and altered. Coursed squared sandstone
with quoins, stone slate roof. Rectangular double-depth plan under 2-span
roof. Two storeys and 2 bays, formerly almost symmetrical, with added bay at
left end; 1st floor band; doorway offset slightly left of centre, and 2
coupled sashed windows on each floor, all with plain surrounds and the
windows with flat-faced central mullions. Addition to left of quoined
vertical joint has inserted doorway with modern swept canopy, coupled sashed
windows to the left, and an oeil-de-boeuf above. Parallel rear range, added
in C19, of less interest.
