Bridge. Circa 1774-80. Designed by Robert Adam for Hon. Richard Rigby. Only
the south side remains. Red and yellow brick with stone dressings. Single
span. South face. The raised buttresses in yellow brick have stone upper
panels with central roundels and stone coping. Moulded stone arch with central
ornamental bracket engaging the moulded stone band above which continues through
the buttresses. Yellow brickwork, stone coping. The side wings of yellow brick
bases, red brick over, stone coping. End pilasters with moulded stone bases and
heads. North (road) face. The centre panel has been filled in with yellow
brick, the plinth red brick. At either end a moulded stone baluster remains.
