Inn, now private house. Early C18. Thinly rendered rubble with quoins and
ashlar dressings; C20 brick porch; Welsh slate roof with red ridge tiles;
yellow brick chimneys. L-plan. 2 storeys, 2 wide bays and one-storey, one-bay
left extension. Central gabled porch has round brick arch containing boarded
door. Renewed 2-light windows, part fixed-light and part casement, with
tooled flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills. Left extension has
boarded door under flat stone lintel. Steeply-pitched roof has end chimneys.
Return gables have triangular coping stones and show signs of having been
raised from cruck-shaped roof. Rear elevation has throughstones in line below
eaves. One-storey, one-bay rear wing has wide C20 window.
