Cottage. Probably early C19. Whitewashed and rendered ; thatched roof, hipped at
ends; projecting right end stack with brick shaft.
Plan : Single depth 2 room plan with a larger heated room to the right and a smaller
unheated service room to the left. C20 single storey addition at right angles to the
left end of the main range, C20 front left corner stack.
Exterior : Asymmetrical 2 window front, the front door into the C20 addition and
then into the main range at the left. 2 first floor probably C20 timber casements
with glazing bars, ground floor windows C20 metal frame replacements.
Interior : not inspected.
Cosycot is situated at the end of the pedestrian Church Lane, at right angles to the
Bury and forms part of a group of thatched cottages to the south of the churchyard.
