west of Berton Under
Edge Farmhouse

GV II

Threshing barn and stable with hayloft above. Mid C18 and early
C19. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. Stone slate roofs, and
irregular quoins. Lower stable range 2 storey, east front has
central doorway with large stone jambs and lintel, to the left
a small window. Above a small taking in door to right. Larger
taking-in door to upper floor of south gable wall. Barn, to north
L-plan, with large double door entrance and to the left an upper
2 light window. The small north-east cross wing has a doorway and
a small-window, with a further small window above.
