House. c1680 central chimney house of 3 bays, extended by one bay to the south in early C19
when it was converted into two cottages. Knapped flint with red brick dressings. Tiled roof
with central panelled brick chimneystack and flint and brick chimneystack. Two storeys and
cellar; 4:2 windows. Casement windows with cambered head linings to ground floor. Brick
stringcourse. Plinth. Two tiled porches. Interior has chamfered spine beam, exposed floor joists
and open fireplace with dome-shaped bread oven. Cellar has arched niche for lamp. Roof
structure of staggered butt purlins and butt rafters.
