8/94 Old Benedicts Bridge, including
- the abutments

GV II

Bridge across Liverton Brook, now on loop road on north-west side of old A38, where
it has been replaced by New Benedicts Bridge (not listed). Probably C18. Stone
rubble with voussoirs and copings of dressed granite. Single segmental arch with
raised keystone on each side; the keystones have unusual semi-circular pendants on
the underside, similar to those at Dartmeet Bridge, Widecombe, of 1792. Long, low
parapets with copings having rounded tops.
