GV II
Boundary railings and gateway. C1900. Cast iron. Railings about 1.2 metres high, with alternate plain spikes and
triple-leaf finials: gates to match, but without the spikes and with added middle rail with quatrefoil ornament and
arched bracing to top and middle rails: simple overthrow to gate, with lamp. Connects the dovecote (q.v) to the school
(q.v) and adds to the setting of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin (q.v).
