Cottage. Early C17, extended to left in C18 and to left in C20, using old
materials, further C20 additicn to rear right. Timber framed to right on sandstone
plinth, red brick infill below, whitewashed infill above. Brown brick to
centre, brown and blue brick to left, tile hung above under plain tiled
roofs. L-shaped plan. One storey and attic to right. Two storeys to
centre and left, jettied on first floor of left wing. End stack to left
and end stack to right. Two hipped roof,diamond-pane dormers to right.
Three leaded casements to ground floor. Pentice roof angle bay to ground
floor right of centre, possibly in place of former door. Two windows to C18
range. Three windows to ground floor under segmental heads. 6 panel door to
right of centre under pentice hood on brackets. Two diamond pane leaded
first floor windows to left. 2 windows to ground floor including one angle
bay. Brick and tile hung parallel range to rear.
