Linhay. Probably C17 or C18. Granite rubble. Roof covered with corrugated iron.
A double linhay (very rare), open both sides and with a stone dividing wall in
ground storey. 1 storey with loft. Ground storey has roughly-shaped granite posts
on each of the long sides. Roof-trusses have curved feet pegged to the ends of the
principal rafters on each side; collars pegged and nailed to their faces. The
linhay lies across the road from the farmhouse, behind the barn.
