Large house. Late C17. English garden-wall bond brick with stone dressings and graduated stone slate roof. 3 x 2 bays with large lean-to on left and rear, two storeys (plus attic) and a gable entrance. Stone quoins, moulded first floor band and C19 bargeboard and finial.
Central entrance with a three-light double-chamfered stone mullion window to each side. Two two-light mullion and transom casements to first floor and one to attic each with flat brick arches. Left side largely obscured by later lean-to but one four-light window survives (as above) to ground floor. Right side has three-light window (as above) in bay one and C19 door and bay window in bays two and three. First floor has one small two2-light casement and two mullion and transom windows with leaded lights and flat brick arches. Dormer window with two three-light leaded casements. Projecting chimney stack rises in two shafts which join in an arch at the top. Ovolo-moulded interior beams with stepped stops. Bressumer beam in rear room with similar moulding but supported at one end by a diagonally braced bracket.
