STOWTING COMMON

3/125 Pett Bottom Farm
II

Farmhouse, now house. Late C17 or early C18. Painted brick, in mixture
of English and Flemish bond to front elevation, English bond to rear.
Plain tile roof. Lobby-entry plan, of one room each side of stack.
2 storeys. Plat band. Hipped roof. Multiflue brick stack towards centre.
Regular 3-window front of two two-light casements and central four-
pane light. Two two-light casements with segmental relieving arches
to ground floor. Boarded door in central late C19 painted brick porch
with lobed bargeboards and gabled plain tile roof. Painted brick
lean-to to left. Interior not inspected.
