Row of 4 cottages, 1839. Red brick, some ashlar. Plain tile
roof. 2 ridge and 2 lateral red brick stacks. Dogtooth eaves.
Brick coped gables with kneelers and single ridge finials. First
floor dentil and raised brick band. 2 storeys, 11 bays, the
outer single bays project and are gabled, the single central bay
is gabled. Central entrance with wooden gate, either side are
doorways, that on the right with part glazed door and on the left
with panelled door. Further left and right are 2 tripartite
casements. To the left is a doorway with part glazed door and to
the right a blocked doorway. The outer single bays each with
single 2 light casement. Above are 4 similar smaller tripartite
casements with single similar 2 light casements in the outer
single bays. Outer single bays have a single recessed oval panel
in each apex. Single central apex with painted panel decorated
with heraldic emblem and dated 1839. All openings with ashlar
lintels. Included for group value only.
