Office possibly originally the bailiff's office. Early C17, remodelled in C20.
Plastered cob on rubble footings; corrugated iron roof.
1-room plan building facing Chaffcombe Farmhouse (q.v.) to north. 2 storeys.
Front has early C17 oak door frame with ovolo moulded surround and containing a
C20 plank door on right side. On left side an external flight of stone steps
leads to a blocked doorway. C20 casements with glazing bars on left (east) and
rear walls.
Interior: ground floor has soffit chamfered crossbeam with keeled step stops.
Roof rebuilt in C20.
