Rigg House West

GV II


House. Late C18, restored c1900. Coursed rubble stone with ashlar dressings. Stone slate hipped roof behind parapet with ashlar coping. 3 stone stacks. 2 storey. South front has slightly off-centre doorway with 6-panel door and overlight, either side single 12-pane sashes. Above two 12-pane sashes. West front has bowed side projection with sloping roof and a single 9-pane casement to each floor. Interior retains a single stone fireplace with brackets supporting the mantle shelf. Included for group value with Rigg House.
