School and Masters House, now one house. Early C19. Stucco on rubble; stack of
exposed rubble topped with later C19 brick; slate roof. Gable-ended block facing
south-west, housing master's House with gable-end stack at left (north-west) end
and school in rest. 3-window front. Stucco pilaster strips which rise to a flat
horizontal band across front near eaves break front into 3 uneven bays. The school
door, a plank door and overlight, with glazing bars, occupies the narrow right bay;
a wide 2-window central bay; and narrow left bay to master's house has a window
one each floor, the upper breaking through the horizontal band. All windows are
C20 casements but blocked 4-centred arches over show that they occupy original
positions. Coved eaves cornice. Low pitch roof. Door to master's house hidden by
C20 porch on left end.
