Probably C16 timber framed house, recased and with C19 gabled left crosswing.
Old part of 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows. High pitched tiled roof with 2
C19 gabled dormers. Rebuilt ridge stack and stack at junction. Tile hung 1st
floor in both parts, and red brick ground floor with blue headers. Modern square
paned casements and gabled porch. Small piece of old wall visible, with close
set timbers and diagonal braces.

Chested Farmhouse shall be amended to read Chested House.
