Bethune House: Late C18. 3 storey. Brick on chamfered plinth. Moulded wood frieze and cornice on pairs of cut scroll brackets. Brick parapet with stone coping. 5 windows to upper floors. 4 windows on ground floor and 6-panel central door, with scroll brass knocker, radiation and wreathed fanlight, in arched panelled reveal with narrow architrave to arch springing from moulded doorhead carried round reveal in doorcase of fluted and 1/3rd reeding Doric pilasters with broken dentilled entablature, honey-suckle ornament on frieze, and open dentilled pediment, 2 moulded stone steps. 2 cellar windows. 2-storey later extension to the lest hand comprises No 88A; 2 windows on the 1st floor; formerly one 3-light window on ground floor, now one single light window. 6 panelled door in panelled reveals; semi-circular fanlight with ogival tracery; panelled pilasters; richly decorated cut scroll brackets; modillion cornice; small triple keystone.
Nos 75 to 94 (consec) (including Nos 86A and 88A) form a group.
