Victorian front range added to fairly complete late C15 Wealden house. Rear
view shows high pitched hipped gabled tiled roof with rebuilt ridge stack.
[C16 chimney inside]. One small gabled dormer at either end. Fancy tile hung
1st floor with visible£timber posts at angles. Red brick ground floor, also
C19. Casement windows, some C19 wood or iron, some modern. Plank door. Projecting
service wing at left. Some freestone masonry visible near ground.
Inside a passage with double roll moulded and chamfered beam; inglenook fireplace;
cellar of heavy freestone masonry; and crownpost roof with heavy, close-set
rafters.
