2. Stable buildings, C18 altered C19. Red brick with some burnt headers, tile roofs.
Simple rectangular building with small gabled protrusion on west side. The ground
floor has four stalls separated by partitions with turned end-posts. The floor-beams
of the former upper storey support a sling-brace roof with collars and butt purlins.
The tile roof, which is probably C19, overhangs with barge boards and has a small
square louvre with steep pyramidal roof. A simple building given a picturesque
appearance to match the Oast (q.v.) visible from Tanners Manor House (q.v.)
