Probably old C16 cottages much altered and restored in the C19.. Random stone
with brick quoins and surrounds to windows. Square paned casement windows.
Plaster finish to 1st floor. Ridge tile roof with ornamental bargeboards and
gable ends facing the Green. Graded for group value.

Applewell, The Buck's Head Inn, Nos 1 and 2 (Pond Cottages) and Nos 1 and 2
(Old School House Cottages) form a group.

Nos 1 and 2 (Old School House Cottages) shall be amended to read Old School
House Cottage

The group value note should now read Applewell, The Buck's Head Inn, Nos 1 and 2
(Pond Cottages) and Old School House Cottage form a group.
