Barn. Early C19. Built of brick noggins arranged diagonally with brick quoins and
lacing courses. Roof half-hipped to one end with weatherboarding the other gables.
Later outshut to one side. Central cart entrance with double doors and 2 tiers of
ventilation slits. 5 bays. Angled Queen strut roof with staggered purlins.
Attached fold yard walls are mainly of Laughton marble, a compressed gritty clay
nodule, with brick buttresses.
