Oast-Houses at Froghole Farm TQ 45 SW 44/1499A

II G.V. 2. Oast-houses. Later C19. Brick. Two square kilns with truncated pyramidal plain tile roofs with cowls. Two attached wings with lower eaves on south, the west wing with hipped plain tile roof, one two-light window at eaves in south wall and a window at eaves in west wall. Roof to east wing ends in boarded south gable with a two-light window below it; two small windows at eaves level in east elevation. One small opening near ground level in N. wall of east kiln. The oast-houses form a group with Froghole Farmhouse. Both farmhouse and oast-houses feature in a painting by Rowland Hilder.
