C17, C18. 1 storey and attic, irregular fenestration. A timber-framed
structure, with frame exposed at the rear (mainly of Compass Cottage), infilled
with red brickwork and elsewhere clad in red brickwork, of mixed bonding and
also Flemish bond. Red tile roof, half-hipped at north, gabled to south and
to the l-storeyed forward extension at the north side. On each face is a
modern wide dormer of 2 lights. Casements. Plain door to Cedar Tree and
timber-framed porch to Compass Cottage. Included for group value.
