Detached house on a corner. Roughcast over stone rubble, 2 storeys.
Front has centre door with timber gabled porch, 2 16-paned sash windows
on ground floor and three above. Right hand return wall has a gabled
projection with an arched window at ground floor level, and a wing along
the lane has 2 windows on ground floor and one above, (two are 16-paned,
the other is older with wood mlillions).
The Haven forms a group with North Syke, North Road. The Golden Rule
Hotel. The Old House, North View and Nos 1 to 3 (consec) Smithy Brow,
Nos 1 to 4 (consec), Kirkstone Foot Cottage, Cottage adjoining and Springwell
Cottage, Tom Fold.
