Stone rubble building partly cement rendered, with stone roof. Tall buildings
with former shippons below the barn, and loft door on gable end, and slate
dripstones. Low 2-storeyed cottage adjoins, with a small shop window
(Bower, Grasmere Crafts), and the rear having external steps up to loft,
and 2 small paned 3-light casement windows.
