War Memorial, 1921 (unveiling). H. Wilson, architect. W. Micklewright, masons. G. L. Thurgood and Son, site layout. Ham Hill stone with portland stone base. Cross with arms of almost equal length and moulded stops. 8-sided shaft with two equally spaced bands. Set on high plinth of square plan, tiered base of two 8-sided shallow steps and wide square base. Inscription reads TO THE MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918 at one side, and TO THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE WORLD WAR 1939-1945 at the opposite site.
